This month we showcase two of our best selling, most popular wines: Peccavi Sauvignon Blanc and Château Gigognan Clos du Roi at a special twin pack price of $120 (U.P. $147).
Peccavi Sauvignon Blanc 2017, Margaret River
Made in a fumé blanc style, Peccavi Sauvignon Blanc 2017 is an award-winning wine and was rated the best Australian Sauvignon Blanc by Winestate Magazine in 2021. It is made for ageing, but is tasting delicious now.
Pale straw colouring with a bouquet of gooseberries, cassis and a hint of tropical fruit backed by faintly smoky vanilla oak. The palate displays great clarity and purity with a spectrum of lemon, lime and grapefruit unfolding to a palate that has capacity, volume and delicate textures. Precise acidity captures and creates a defined palate of vibrancy, finishing with a balanced crunchy lemon acidity

Château Gigognan Clos du Roi 2016, Rhône Valley
Château Gigognan Clos du Roi is a GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre blend) from the Châteauneuf du Pape appelation in Rhône Valley France and is certified organic.
A beautiful purple, red colour, the Clos du Roi is a powerful wine, generous with fine melted tannins, exhaling aromas of red fruit, elderberry and spice with light wood. It is an ideal companion to red meat, game and cheese with character. Ready to drink now after decanting, or can be cellared for 8 to 10 years.
It pairs perfectly with braised or roasted meat and is delicious with a Moroccan Couscous dish.
